3rd fishing trip!
its my third(3rd) time at labrador! and i finally went FISHing!! hahaha.
1st time, we(gina, daphne, dj, jiajun) sotonged and it was quite unsuccessful except for the "picnic" part. those 4 should know what im talking about.
2nd time was just 2-3 days ago. went with jiheon, dj, daphne, gina and lionel! it was better. but we went eel-ing. we caught only an eel.
3rd time's today! haha. kept snoozing the alarm but finally woke up at 930am. was supposed to meet the rest at 10 at vovo. so. yep. im late. so packed the fishing stuffs and everything. the rod, the lighter, rafia, plastic bags and etc. left the house at 10. met lionel at redhill mrt afterwards.( he was also late. as usual..) then we went to vivo to look for felix. on the way there we kept wondering why felix hadnt rushed us. haha. nice guy. lol.
bought some food stuffs at vivomart and lionel like ran around the whole vivo to find smth that felix took less than a minute to find. lol. the wax tin. bought our stuffs than went to breadtalk to get some bread. DUH! and headed to the bus interchange. just to realise that that dumb 408 doesnt operate on weekdays. damn! we cabbed to labrador and took the stairs again. for the third(for me) second(for lionel) first(for felix) time. to those who hadnt been to lab. park, the stairs are quite .... go find out for yourselves. warning: lots of spiders.
so we fished! haha. set up everything and we jigged. and i was the first to jig. so while lionel was busy making the shelter, i told him "eh i catch you a fish ar" then he replied, "wow, thats confidence.." LOL. and guess what, i caught a taman! haha. so its the first fish i caught in the 3 outings to lab. park. of course i was excited la! so i reeled it up and pull it onto the jetty. and just nice. lionel was standing there. haha yep, the weight hit his face. hahaha!! damn funny.
(thats the shelter. the wind was blowing while lionel took the picture)so we went around catching fishes. ALL of us caught fishes. haha. so. its the experience la. (: thank me guys. thank me. hoho. =x

anyways, lionel told us to take a break. and he used the mess tins to cook! outdoor cooking! first time im doing that. other than bbq.
ate maggi mee, hotdog, and LuoHanZhai(yucks. wonder why yinmun said its nice=x) [ lionel! what happen to the baked beans ar?!?! ]we went to different spots around the jetty then my father came with the additional bait(what bait? its a secret. =xxx )
then we gave up on the small fishes. we went for the BIG ones. ;) the rod was thrown into the sea with the new bait and withing minutes, like 4-5 minutes, we caught this.

(name: the anonymous fish. ps. rmb how it looks like k.)yep. not sure what fish it is. but. it sure is big.(compared to my kuning. =/) then we saw this needle fish. so i used the hook and blah blah to catch it! hahaa. it was damn fun!! and its big okay. so i got damn excited. i used a handline btw. so i pulled and pulled and finally pulled it onto the jetty. and guess what, i the process, i almost gave lionel an injection with the fish. HAHA. its damn funny. he ducked like there was a bomb. seriously. hahaha!! but i would have done the same thing la. =.= look at the needle fish! the mouth is damn sharp.
hahah. freaky right. then my dad's friend, uncle tony(thats how i address him) came and started fishing with us. then while fishing, we saw this 1.5 meter fish!! omg! its damn big! its the needle fish! all of us were shocked to see it! its really damn big. must see to believe. 1.5m.. haha! if only i caught it. wow..!! =DDD
okay, then it started to get dark. and there we could see lightning from a distance. as we were packing, lionel had a late catch! ahhaa. its the moray. he reeled it up then when it was about the surface i helped him pull it in. the rod bent like helll..! was afraid it might break. but it didnt.
this eel was bigger than the previous and it somehow looked nicer. maybe because it was in the dark. haha.

and after we packed up, dad sent lionel and felix to vivo. and i homed sweet homed.
